We are an independent, grassroots event aimed at highlighting and promoting the works of African descended people in the various fields and industry of literature; from authorship, to publishing, to distribution. We are sponsored by the local Virginia division of the UNIVERSAL NEGRO IMPROVEMENT ASSOCIATION & AFRICAN COMMUNITIES LEAGUE (UNIA-ACL).

We aim to represent for our people culturally and creatively. One God...One Aim...One Destiny!!!!

Due to my own personal mounting financial crisis, I have no choice but to POSTPONE the Second annual Black CapaCity Literary Arts Festival. I thank you for your comment…..my artwork as been my world for such a long time The work I put up is about 6 to 8 years old I was developing me technique.... I will be Uploading some of my new work soon….I create my art work by combining image layers to make one picture those have about 20 to 30 one of my new work as over a 1000 layers and is still not finished.
